Attending meetings just isn't enough
<< So...
I would like to thank the following people for their ignorance:
- James from GTS - your lack of product knowledge and ability only to turn
up and meetings and waste my time was a joy. I'm still waiting for a follow
up
- Marie from TML - summarising my clearly described requirements and getting
them wrong in a conversation is bad enough, doing it several times is
unforgivable. When I ask for a stand-alone unit, credit card sized with its
own aerial, I mean a piece of hardware, not a piece of software or a goddamn
lead!
- Surly curmudgeon in the post office this evening - when I ask you about
the release date for self-adhesive stamps, I expect more than
"dunno" in return - you sour faced boot! At least your colleague
tried to put a shine on it, while you stood there glaring down at your ample
gut!
- Robin from KBR - next time you get offered the chance to provide me with
network services, tell me up front that you don't want my business, don't
come to a meeting, bandy platitudes (with no detail) and then tell me that
it will cost me for any real information... weeks later, that is.
- David from DOS Ltd - if you know your stuff, try making out as though you
do. If it sounds like you are bullshitting, then you might as well be. Plus,
if you want a sale, you have to offer competitive pricing and servicing.
- Telewest customer care staff - next time you feed me a line about a
digital box needing a couple of weeks to "get used to being plugged in
and settle down" I will call it crap to your faces
- ... and so on - I tire of them all!!!
