They were foxed by taxing punctuation

Walking past a taxi company in Whitley Bay today, I discovered that they were billed as:

Foxhunters Taxi's

Which puzzled me. Is foxhunter a verb? What does the Taxi own? Then, I realised that maybe the sign should have read:

• Foxhunters' Taxis
• Foxhunter Taxis
• Foxhunter's Taxis

or

• Foxhunter Taxi

I think that there are a couple of lessons to be learnt here.

• Fox hunting has nothing to do with personal transport.
• The plural of Taxi is not Taxi's (not unless you're being really picky and claiming it's an abbreviation of Taxicabs).

My advice: get the 'bus!
