Here are the results from the Newcastle Central ward.

• Third place, Aidan Ruff (Conservative, with 6 apostrophe errors)
• Second place, Stephen Psallidas (LibDem, with one apostrophe error)
• First place, Jim Cousins (Labour, no apostrophe errors).

So, politics aside, the apostrophe determined the actual vote... or perhaps not, but it's still a fun parallel.
